Cheryl Rakowski, M.Ed.
Cheryl Rakowski received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education in 1993. She continued her education and received a Master of Education degree in Adult Education in order to teach future teachers. God had other plans.
The idea for Pure Energy came to Cheryl in late 2006 as her two youngest children were approaching middle school age. She saw that there was a need for a program for this age group and wanted it to incorporate many learning styles and service projects. She also felt that it can be a burden for parents to take children from one class to another all throughout the week. Her vision was for academic and elective classes to be offered on one day, in one location, with the same group of friends. This close-knit environment would foster a sense of community for the children and teachers. The name Pure Energy was created to focus on keeping a pure heart for God while actively learning.
For the past 15 years Cheryl has taught in public school, home school, private school, co-ops, and private classes. She also created a pre-kindergarten program with a parent educational emphasis and co-founded a homeschool co-op. Cheryl continues to home educate and enjoys teaching a wide variety of classes. Cheryl's oldest child has graduated from high school.

Rebecca Greer
Rebecca Greer has been involved in homeschooling for 12 years and loves teaching. Homeschooling has been both a blessing and a priviledge for her entire family, providing strong family bonds, unity and a joy of learning.
Rebecca is fluent in Spanish and English and also loves to draw and paint with various mediums. She is currently a member of the Williamson County Art Guild where her artwork is displayed from time to time.

Nicole Williams
Nicole Williams has been a Christ-follower for 17 years. She is married to her best friend, Michael. Nicole is a veteran homeschool mother of two high-schoolers and has taught in homeschool classes, co-ops, and private school.
She has a passion for homeschooling and teaching. Nicole loves to watch the light in a child's eyes when he/she "gets it." She is in the process of writing a homeschool cooking curriculum. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys nature, crocheting, gardening, and reading.

JoAnn Nolte
JoAnn has homeschooled all four of her children (ages 10, 12, 14, 16) since 1991. She has taught numerous classes during this time and has held various positions of leadership, including: Director of WATCH Co-op, business owner, teacher, Lego Robotics Mentor, and Board Member for Christian Home Ministries.
She has a deep love for learning and loves to excite others to learn as well. If asked whom she most identifies with, she would say Ms. Frizzle. Waahoo! So take chances, get messy, and make mistakes!
